Think link building is just email templates?

Real link building happens when you stop following scripts and start understanding how relationships actually work. Our approach focuses on substance over scale.

See What We Actually Teach
Real link building workspace showing actual outreach work

Before you decide anything

Here's what happens inside our program. No promises, no pitches. Just a straightforward look at what you'll actually be learning and why it matters in practice.

Three sample modules

Walk through our outreach framework lesson, site evaluation module, and relationship tracking system. See exactly how we structure information and what level of detail to expect.

Real campaign examples

Review documented outreach campaigns showing what actually got responses, what didn't, and why. Numbers included, failures documented, lessons extracted from actual work.

Assessment framework

Try our site evaluation checklist and pitch quality assessment tool. These are the same frameworks you'll use throughout the program to evaluate your own work.

How we keep this stuff current

Every quarter, we run live campaigns ourselves. Not hypothetical exercises—actual outreach to real sites in competitive niches. When Google shifts their guidelines or we notice response rates dropping, we update lessons based on what's actually working now.

Student feedback drives about 40% of our updates. When five people ask the same clarification question, we rewrite that section. When someone finds a better approach than ours, we test it and add it if it holds up.

Our content review happens continuously, not annually. There's a dedicated team member checking lessons against current search behavior, industry conversations, and our own campaign data. Outdated tactics get flagged and revised within weeks, not months.

Platform capabilities you'll actually use

We built these tools because students kept asking for them. Nothing fancy, just practical features that make learning link building less frustrating.

Campaign tracking sheets

Spreadsheet templates integrated with your progress dashboard. Track outreach metrics, response rates, and follow-up timing without switching between tools.

Pitch feedback system

Submit your actual outreach emails for instructor review. Get specific feedback on tone, positioning, and pitch structure within 48 hours during weekdays.

Resource library access

Searchable database of outreach templates, site evaluation criteria, and negotiation frameworks. Filter by industry, link type, or difficulty level.

Progress checkpoints

Self-assessment quizzes after each module to verify you actually understand the material. Pass rate is 70%, you can retake them, and they help identify gaps.

Discussion forums

Ask questions about specific scenarios you're facing. Other students and instructors respond with their experience. Archive is searchable for common issues.

Mobile-friendly format

All lessons work on phones and tablets. Some people prefer reading case studies during commutes or reviewing checklists while prospecting sites.

What we actually guarantee

Content access duration

Lifetime access to all course materials and updates. If we add new modules or revise existing ones, you get them automatically. No renewal fees or subscriptions.

Privacy standards

Your campaign data, submitted pitches, and progress metrics stay private. We don't share individual performance data, sell information, or use your work in marketing without explicit permission.

Refund window clarity

30 days to decide if this works for you. Full refund if you're not finding value, no questions asked. Process takes 5-7 business days after request submission.

Where this program came from

Started in 2023 when three SEO practitioners got tired of explaining the same link building concepts to junior team members. We realized most available training focused on tactics without explaining why certain approaches work better than others.

First version was just internal documentation for our agency. Clients started asking if they could share it with their in-house teams. By late 2024, we formalized it into structured lessons, added case studies, and opened enrollment.

Current version is the fourth major revision. Each iteration added more real campaign examples, removed outdated tactics, and incorporated feedback from about 180 students who went through earlier versions.

Shared materials with five agency clients for their teams. Gathered feedback on clarity, practical application, and missing components. Realized need for more documented examples.

Mid 2024

Structured course creation

Formalized content into sequential modules with assessments. Added campaign case studies and failure analysis. Built initial platform for content delivery and progress tracking.

Late 2024

Public enrollment launch

Opened program to external students after internal beta testing. Implemented feedback system and instructor review process. Started quarterly content updates based on current campaign results.
